A Rose is still a Rose
Miscarriage or LOSS
We created, A Rose is still a Rose Collection, because we wanted to recognition and support towards women who have lost a baby during their journeys. Motherhood does not always result in a successful outcome, but it does not make you any less of a mother. We understand, because we have experienced loss during pregnancy, and we feel it is time for the world to pay attention and include us when it comes to care.
Black women miscarriage rates are 40% higher than other groups
"A Mother is Not Defined by the number of children you can see, but by the love she holds in her heart." - Franchesca Cox
When a woman experiences a lost during motherhood, friends and family members are often unsure of what to say or what to do in an effort to provide comfort. Since miscarriages, stillbirths, and/or any topic related to death is an uncomfortable conversation, many women are left to grieve alone or in silence. Our cards were created specifically to show support when it is needed the most, without having to say a word or feel uncomfortable.
